There are several ways to prevent glass corrosion.

Adding rinse aid
Check to see if the appliance has enough rinse aid left. The flap or dial indicated by a star/snowflake can be opened and refilled with rinse aid.

Adding regeneration salt
The salt level may be too low. Check this and add regeneration salt if necessary. Consult your dishwasher's manual to do this.
