The refrigerator was a revolutionary breakthrough in preserving food. Today, the refrigerator is one of the most important household items, it is part of the standard equipment of a western household. It saves you from having to go grocery shopping every day, because keeping food cool means that it can be kept for longer. Without this cool air, food spoils quickly, especially dairy and meat products. The fridge is used intensively: it is on 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For a well-functioning fridge, you don't need to worry about this, but intensive use can cause a part to wear out or break down. If it's a small part, like the fridge temperature sensor or the bulb, it's often not such a problem. But if some parts don't work anymore, then the refrigerator won't work properly and it will cool badly or not at all. This can cause problems, such as spoiled food or leaking water. Over the years, some parts may have been lost or broken. These are often not parts that are essential to the operation of the fridge, but they are certainly handy to have around. You can think of parts like a bottle rack fridge. Super handy for stacking bottles, so they stay stable and don't roll off each other. Sometimes you can store bottles in the door of the fridge. This has a tray that is just big enough to hold the bottles. However, these trays can sometimes get broken, for example by a protruding object in the fridge itself. It's also handy if you can separate the food in your fridge, many people use a meat tray or vegetable drawer. These parts are important to keep clean, otherwise it is unhygienic to put your food in them. Often, when you are cleaning the fridge, it goes wrong: you rinse out the vegetable drawer, and then you accidentally drop it hard. There is a big crack in the drawer. This is of course a great pity. Some small fridges have a freezer compartment. This is very handy when you freeze too little to buy a freezer, but you still have to put something in the freezer once in a while. With the help of the type number, you will quickly find which parts are suitable for your appliance. It also works the other way round: have you found a part, but are you not sure if it is suitable for the model you have? Then you can easily enter the article number.
