Want to replace the door rubber of your refrigerator, but don't know exactly how to do it? No problem, replacing the refrigerator door rubber is pretty easy! With this step-by-step plan, you'll have it fixed in no time!
What do you need?
Replacing the refrigerator door rubber:
1. Remove the old door rubber.
The old refrigerator door rubber is best loosened at the top corner. Try to pull the old door rubber loose from the seam, by pulling it towards you. The rest of the door rubber can be pulled loose from the door this way.
2. Place the new door rubber.
Start by placing the new door rubber in the top corner. Press the new door rubber firmly into the seam and make sure it is secure. Work from this top corner to the other top corner. First, make sure the top is secure. Then go down the sides and press the door rubber firmly in place over the entire frame. Your refrigerator door rubber is now replaced!
