Dishwasher - Clean door rubber

Difficulty: Easy
Estimated time: ± 10 minutes

Want to clean the door rubber of your dishwasher? Fortunately, that's a snap to do!

Cleaning the dishwasher door rubber:
When there is dirt, for example food residue, between the door rubber, the door rubber may no longer seal properly and water may leak out of the door. You should therefore check whether the door rubber is still clean. The best way to do this is to carefully feel behind the door rubber with your fingers. If the door rubber needs to be cleaned, it is best to use all-purpose cleaner. After cleaning, make sure the door rubber is back in the right place so the door closes properly. If you find any cracks in the door rubber, it is wiser to replace the door rubber completely.

The correct number is the type- or model number and NOT the serial number. The model number is a row of numbers and/or letters. Sometimes the model number contains a hyphen (-) or a forward slash (/).
