Always first:
- Unplug the appliance.
- Turn off the water supply.
- Tip: Take photos while removing the old part, so you can easily see how to fit the new spare part later.
1. Remove the back panel
To replace the belt of your washing machine, you need to get to the back of the appliance. Turn the washing machine around. Remove the back panel by unscrewing the screws with a screwdriver.
2. Take off the old belt
You’ll see the belt between the motor and the drum drive wheel. Carefully pull the belt off the drum drive wheel to remove it.
3. Fit the new belt
First, place the new belt around the motor shaft (at the bottom of the washing machine). Then, roll it over the drum drive wheel. Put the back panel on again. You’ve replaced the belt and your washing machine is ready to go!
