Always first:
- Unplug the oven from the power outlet.
- Tip: While disassembling the old part, regularly take photos so you can easily see how to reassemble the new part later.
1. Remove the oven housing
The display is located at the top of the oven. To replace it, you must first remove the top panel. First, unscrew the screws on the sides and then carefully lift the top of the oven.
2. Remove the old display
First, disconnect the wiring. Optionally, take a photo so you can easily reconnect the wiring in the correct position later. Then you can remove the display from the oven by bending the metal clips and pulling it out. It may be that in your oven, the display is secured with screws instead of clips—in that case, unscrew them.
The display consists of two parts: the holder and the circuit board. You can easily separate them using a screwdriver. This way, you can replace the parts individually if needed.
3. Install the new display
If you have separated the circuit board and holder, first click them back together. Place the new display in the same spot as the old one and bend the clips back or screw the screws back in. Then reconnect the wiring properly.
