Always first:
- Unplug the appliance.
- WARNING: Even after unplugging, the capacitor can still hold a dangerously high voltage. Wait at least 10 minutes, or discharge the capacitor by connecting the terminals with well-insulated tools.
1. Remove the casing
Unscrew the screws at the back and possibly on the side. Then you can easily take off the top and side panels.
2. Remove the old capacitor
Attention! First, the appliance needs to be discharged. Connect the two contacts of the capacitor with insulated pliers to discharge it. Then disconnect the contact.
Now you can safely unscrew the screw. Take the old capacitor out of the microwave.
3. Fit the new capacitor
Put the new capacitor where the old one was and screw it back in. Then put the clips back on the capacitor. Don’t forget to reconnect the contact at the end.
4. Put the casing back on
Slide the panels back onto the microwave. Then screw the screws at the back and possibly the side back in.
