Step-by-step plan

Always first:

  • Unplug the power cord.
  • Tip: when dismantling the old part, regularly take photos so you can easily see how to reassemble the new part.

1. Remove the old hinges

Open the door of the freezer. Unscrew the upper and lower hinge from the freezer using a screwdriver. Lift the door and set it aside. Unscrew the old hinges from the door.

2. Fit the new hinges

Secure the new hinges to the door by tightening the screws. Place the door back on the freezer. Reattach the hinges to the freezer. Well done, you have replaced the hinges on your freezer!
