Step-by-step plan

Always first:

  • Unplug the appliance.
  • Tip: when taking apart the old spare part, take photos regularly so you can easily see how to fit the new spare part back in.

1. Remove the grease filters

To access the control panel, you’ll need to remove the grease filters first. Unclip them, lower them and take them out of the extractor hood.

2. Remove the old control panel

Undo the screws on the control panel and remove the module from the extractor hood. Then remove the screws from the housing. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently prise the housing open. Disconnect all cables and remove the control panel completely.

3. Fit the new control panel

Connect all cables in the right place and put the control panel back into the housing. Screw the housing back on and put the control panel back in place in the extractor hood.

4. Put the grease filters back

Put the grease filters back and clip them into place.

You’ve replaced the control panel and the extractor hood is ready to use again.
