Always first:
- Unplug the appliance.
- Turn off the tap.
- Tip: When taking out the old spare part, take photos regularly so you can easily see how to fit the new spare part.
1. Remove the old door seal
Open the dishwasher door. The door seal runs along the inside of the appliance. Remove the door seal by carefully pulling it loose at the bottom.
2. Fit the new door seal
Find the centre of the new door seal. Push the centre of the door seal at the top of the dishwasher back in, where the old door seal was attached. Work from the centre towards both ends. Push the door seal in as far as possible, but don't stretch it. Make sure the same amount of door seal sticks out at both ends.
3. Close the dishwasher door
Close the door and gently push it shut. Then open the door again and check if the door seal is still in the right place. If not, refit the door seal. If the door seal is fitted properly, close the door and leave the appliance like that for a while. Over the next few days, it might feel like the door opens and closes a bit less smoothly than before.
