Coffee machine - Replace sealing ring
Want to replace the o-ring on your coffee maker? Fortunately, that's a piece of cake!
What do you need?
Always first:
- Unplug the appliance.
- Tip: When disassembling the old part, take regular pictures, so you can easily see how to reassemble the new part.
Replacing a sealing ring on a coffee maker:
A coffee maker has several sealing rings. Before replacing the water tank sealing ring, it is wise to first check if it is leaking. Fill the reservoir with water and see if water leaks past it. If no water drips from the reservoir, then most likely the o-ring in the coffee maker will be broken.
Unfortunately, there are too many different types of sealing rings and coffee makers to describe how to replace the sealing ring. Generally speaking, finding the broken sealing ring is the most difficult task. Most seal rings are easy to pull out of the appliance and put back in place.
