Coffee machine - Limescale
Lime deposits occur over time in every coffee maker. It is therefore important that you descale the appliance regularly. Descaling a coffee maker is important for the quality of the coffee and for the life of the machine. Some coffee makers tell you when they need to be descaled. With other coffee makers, it is described in the manual. With daily use, it is wise to descale the coffee maker at least once every three months.
If you use a water filter, descaling is needed less often. With a water filter you reduce limescale in the machine. Make sure you replace the water filter in time. How often a water filter must be replaced depends on the water filter and the brand of coffee maker.
