Door seal replacement

A door seal ensures that your appliance closes properly and does not leak water. As soon as your appliance starts to leak, there is a good chance that the door seal is broken or worn. This is, of course, very annoying. Fortunately, this part is relatively easy to replace yourself. If you want to buy a new door seal for your appliance, make sure it is suitable for your appliance. You can check whether this is the case by looking at the type number of your appliance.

Washing machine door seal

It is relatively easy to replace the door rubber of your washing machine yourself. If you follow the steps below, it will be done in no time. Before you start, it is very important to unplug the machine and turn off the tap. Next, remove the old door rubber using a screwdriver. After this, you pull out the door rubber and spring. Now it is time to start fitting the new door rubber. Make sure the door rubber is sitting right side up and attach it to the tub. Next, place the spring in the groove and then pull the spring back into place. Now you can pull the door rubber out of the drum and then push the edge firmly onto the front panel. If successful, attach the clamp around the door rubber and squeeze it with pliers. Now you can replace the door and tighten the screws. This way, you can replace your washing machine door rubber yourself. We have a wide range of washing machine door rubbers. Check which one you need before replacing it!
